The book is a prequel following 16-year old Red as she comes of age in the Enchanted Forest. Red must learn to face down a group of mean girls and learn to interpret her mysterious dreams as she falls in love with her best friend Peter. Granny also appears in the book.
Wendy is also the author of Red's Untold Tale, Miss Match, The Secret Life of a Teenage Siren, and Lifted.
